The mission of the Institute is to promote artful intelligence and restore social hope to a global audience by convening and supporting leading exemplars of embodied cognition.

The motto of Artful intelligence is “Think with BEAM—body, environment, action, mind—and defend your VICE—volition, intent, choice, explanations.“

Artful intelligence reasserts human agency, and rebuilds trust, embodied human to embodied human. It is the path for reversing the confusion accompanying our increasing dependence on AI and algorithmic thinking.
